Registration is open to the public yearly as of March 1. If you would like a registration form, please call our Preschool Director, Jane Blackerby, at 336.248.2140 or email her at jblackerby@fpclexnc.com.

In order to apply for the Preschool, your child(ren) must be two, three, or four years old on or before August 31 of the current year. Our classes meet September through May.
Classes Offered
- The Turtle Two’s meet two days per week, from 9:00 AM until 11:30 AM.
- The Beehive Bunch attends two days per week, from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
- The Outstanding Owls attend three days per week, from 8:45 AM until 11:45 AM.
Other classes in subsequent years may be offered dependent upon enrollment.
Program Costs
A non-refundable registration fee is due annually at the time of application. This fee is $60.00 per application for those who register and pay the registration fee by May 31. If registering and paying the registration fee later than May 31, the fee is $80.00 per application.
A $25.00 annual supply fee is required for each student and should be paid by October 1.
Tuition Payments
Tuition for the Turtle Two’s is $1,440.00 per year. For your convenience, your tuition may be paid in monthly installments of $160 per month for nine months (September-May).
Tuition for the Beehive Bunch is $1,620.00 for the year. For your convenience, your tuition may be paid in monthly installments of $180 per month for nine months (September-May).
Tuition for the Outstanding Owls is $2,070.00. For your convenience, your tuition may be paid in monthly installments of $230 per month for nine months (September-May).
Tuition for Preschool is calculated for a full school year (September-May) and full payment is necessary in order for the school to meet its operational expenses. The church does not supplement the supplies or salaries needed to operate the program. Monthly payments are offered for your convenience. The monthly payment does not represent payment for a particular month. Payments may also be made annually or semi-annually.
Tuition ensures your child’s continued enrollment and is payable in full regardless of attendance, scheduled school holidays, weather closings, family trips, or short illnesses of less than a month in length. If your child is absent, or if the Preschool is closed for holidays, snow days, conference days, teacher work days, etc., tuition is still required. Checks should be made payable to First Presbyterian Preschool.
If you choose to make tuition payments on a monthly basis, tuition is due on the first class day of the month. If tuition is not received by the 10th of the month, a $15.00 late fee will be charged. If the account is not paid in full by the 1st of the next month, your child may not attend class until the tuition and late fee are paid in full.
A service fee of $25.00 will be charged for each returned check. After the second returned check, tuition payments may only be paid in cash or by money order.
